咖啡烘烘烘 Coffee Boom Boom Boom/ World Roasting League (WRL) 世界烘焙聯賽,於近日在東莞悠然咖啡節順利完成首場大陸賽區選拔賽。本次賽事由「蓁果咖啡」主辦,在一場關於穩定性、決策精準度與風味表達的深度對話中,最終誕生了具備通往世界舞台實力的頂尖烘豆師。

關鍵決策:單場決選制,直通世界大門

作為 WRL 首度於國內舉辦的選拔賽,為了讓優秀技術能迅速與國際接軌,本次特別採取「單場決選制」。參賽者不需累積年度積分,而是以展現出的技術邏輯與烘焙實力定勝負。前三名選手不僅獲得了榮譽獎項,更直接取得 2026 年 6 月於台灣舉辦的 WRL 世界總決賽 參賽資格。

戰況回顧:從十強到巔峰的風味對決

在為期數日的賽程中,評審團與賽事經理見證了選手們如何將抽象的感官判斷,具象化為一杯杯具有邏輯的曲線作品。正如評審所言:「能走到這一步,靠的從來不是運氣,而是經得起檢視的能力與表現。」

經過激烈的杯測評鑑與技術審核,東莞賽區最終成績如下:

這六位選手皆展現了極高的專業水準,而前三名優勝者除了獲得賽區獎金,更將獲得大會全額贊助的機票與食宿,代表該賽區前往台灣,與來自香港、澳門、新加坡、馬來西亞、菲律賓、泰國、韓國、日本等地的烘豆職人正面交鋒。

2026 Coffee Boom Boom Boom | WRL World Roasting League: Dongguan Selection Concludes, Top 3 Headed to World Finals in Taiwan!

The inaugural China Selection of the World Roasting League (WRL), an international competition brand under Coffee Boom Boom Boom, successfully concluded at the Dongguan Chill Coffee Festival. Hosted by Hazelnut Coffee (蓁果咖啡), this selection was a profound dialogue on stability, decision-making precision, and flavor expression, ultimately identifying elite roasters ready for the global stage.

Key Strategy: Single-Event Elimination, A Direct Gateway to the World

As the first WRL selection held in Mainland China, a “Single-Event Elimination System” was specifically adopted to rapidly bridge local talent with international standards. Rather than accumulating annual points, competitors were judged solely on their technical logic and roasting prowess demonstrated during the event. The top three finalists not only earned prestigious honors but also secured their spots for the 2026 WRL World Finals to be held in Taiwan this June.

Recap: A Duel of Flavors from the Top 10 to the Peak

Throughout the multi-day competition, the jury and tournament managers witnessed how competitors transformed abstract sensory judgments into logical, tangible roasting curves. As the judges noted: “Reaching this stage is never a matter of luck; it is a testament to ability and performance that stands up to the most rigorous scrutiny.”

After intense cupping evaluations and technical audits, the final rankings for the Dongguan Selection are as follows:

  • Champion: Qiu Zhiwen (Mr. Roast Mervin)
  • 1st Runner-up: Zhong Junhong (Xiao Ke)
  • 2nd Runner-up: Huang Chengxi (Xi)
  • 4th Place: Qi Shuai (PH Coffee)
  • 5th Place: Xu Yujun (Sherry)
  • 6th Place: Huang Dilian (👹)

All six finalists demonstrated exceptional professionalism. The top three winners, in addition to their regional prize money, will receive full sponsorship for airfare and accommodations from the committee. They will represent the region in Taiwan, competing head-to-head with top roasters from Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, and beyond.
